Senka (shadows) brings you a diversity of scenery. It
takes you to a warm crowded marketplace where baselines
and clarinet form a rhythmic coalition. While percussion
waves you towards the shadows, lyrical melodies come and
go from time to time.

After a sphere of calmness, acid sounds start rising
mingled with darbuka and tapan. At the point of highest
tension, melancholic clarinet sounds reflect acceptance.

Goro and the members of Mèraque met in 2020 in Amsterdam.
They share the love for both electronic as acoustic folk
music, became friends and created Senka together. Remixes
on this EP are provided by Sinai and SEVN.
